Xiaomi Mi MIX Launched: Price, Specifications and Features

Along with the Mi Note 2, Xiaomi also launched a new phone named Mi MIX. It is a so called concept phone with a borderless display.

Xiaomi Mi MIX is beautiful from outside and a beast from inside. It has all the top notch features along with beautiful design.

Xiaomi Mi MIX has a 6.4 inch 2040x1080 pixel display and 17:9 aspect ratio display with 91.3% screen to body ratio. Xiaomi Mi MIX does have bezels but the bezels are so thin that they are negligible. The only bezel visible is below the screen of the phone where you will found front camera and speaker.There is no physical button below the display. First time Xiaomi has gone with the on screen buttons.

The earpiece and proximity sensor are completely hidden. Xiaomi Mi MIX uses a piezoelectric ceramic driver for the earpiece and ultrasonic proximity sensor which works through the display.

The body of Mi MIX is made entirely of Ceramic, The industrial design has been done by designer Philippe Starck.

Under the hood Xiaomi Mi MIX is powered by Qualcomm's Latest and Best Chipset : Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with upto 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM. The 128 gb model comes with 4 GB of RAM while 256 GB model comes with 6 GB of RAM.256 GB model also gets gold trim with 18K gold accents on the camera lens and fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX has 16 MP back camera with 4k video recording. Front camera is of 5MP.

Xiaomi Mi MIX is powered by 4400 mAh battery with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0


It is priced at $515 for the 4GB/128GB model and $590 for the 6GB/256GB model.

Both the model comes with leather packaging.


Overall the Xiaomi Mi MIX is a great phone for a person who wants a different phone from others with top notch hardware.
